Unfortunately your links have expired for Maiko, I've been a great fan of hers for a few years now. It's rather unfortunate that most of her stuff is hard to find or just plain unavailable.

I really love Japanese music and I have a soft spot for 80's idol music, I think it has lots of quality and charm that sadly it's missing today.
By the way we have a japanese radio show and we did a program dedicated to idol music...although it's in spanish you can enjoy our blog!

I love Maiko so much; back at 80's, I only had her cassette, which I was junior high student. Her first album was my favorite. (ハートの扉; The Door of Heart).
She was very lucky as well; all of her songs were nicely arranged and produced. Unfortunately, she stopped her career of being a singer after second album. I miss her.
